As the elderly population increases, the demand for appropriate therapy for aging and photoaging also increases. Of these therapeutic methods, chemical peeling and laser therapy are currently popular and are performed repetitively. Therefore, it is essential to understand the mechanisms of these therapies and to know whether these approaches are safe or not. We have summarized our recent results and provided an outline of previous reports.
