Recently, the Japanese doctor-patient relationship has become more
sophisticated. Accordingly, the number of legal cases is also
increasing. Therefore, doctors should acquire appropriate knowledge of
the Japanese law. In this paper, we discuss compensation not only
through civil law but also through public law.
