In the surgical management of auricular keloids, there is a high surgery
recurrence rate and postoperative electron beam irradiation
(15Gy/3fractions/3days), which is 27.3%. Moreover, postoperative
auricular deformities are a problem. Keloid core excision will be the
most suitable surgical method for treating auricular keloid, because the
strain of the wound is free after operation.. There were little
deformities of a postoperative auricle, and the recurrence rate was low. |
