Recently, the Japanese doctor-patient relationship has become more
sophisticated. Accordingly, the number of legal cases is also
increasing. Therefore, not only patients, but also doctors, should
acquire appropriate Japanese civil law knowledge. In this paper, we
discuss the responsibilities of doctors focusing on compensation for
damages, from the view of Hadley v. Baxendale (1854) 9 Ex.341, 156. |
